The hotel is situated in the quiet village of Gortahork in the North West corner of Donegal. It is named after Loch Alban, a lovely little lake which nestles at the foot of Errigal, and is situated between the clear blue waters of the Atlantic on one side and the towering presence of Errigal and Muckish Mountains on the other. Here in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht the Irish language is the first language of the local people and Gaelic customs are a vibrant part of everyday life.
