Cork - Swansea Ferry Update
Excellent progress has been made with the campaign to reinstate the Cork - Swansea Ferry service. The Cork - Swansea Ferry campaigners have announced the following:
"Negotiations to purchase the Julia / Innisfallen from the Finnish owners are at a critical stage, and will continue early next week.
We are confident that our team will be able to secure the best possible deal for the future - and we thank all the people who have supported our campaign with their generous investment pledges.
We are still accepting pledges, and would urge people who have already pledged but not yet sent us their cash to do so immediately."
Please lend your support - this is a valuable service to tourists and its loss does not just affect the south west of Ireland. If you are in the tourism industry, this affects you so please help to spread the word or if know of anyone who might be in a position to make an investment, please contact adrian@inspired-glass.com Lastly, if you have not already done so, please sign the e-petition here: Sign the e-petition

Poem
Her snow-white robes, and now no more the frost
Candies the grass, or casts an icy cream
Upon the silver lake or crystal stream;
But the warm sun thaws the benumbed earth,
And makes it tender; gives a sacred birth
To the dead swallow; wakes in hollow tree
The drowsy cuckoo and the humble-bee.
Now do a choir of chirping minstrels bring
In triumph to the world the youthful spring."
