1) Accommodation Directory of Ireland Information
Our News:
In our ongoing developments to our website, we are currently undergoing a fashionable transformation. Along with WAP accessibility and availability in 5 languages, The ' Accommodation Directory of Ireland ' website is being modified, simplified and beautified. So watch out !
Listings are now being arranged by town, simplifying searches for visitors.
A Food and Drink Directory and a Leisure Directory are being developed to compliment the Accommodation Directory. If you are listed under the accommodation directory and also provide food/drink or leisure facilities, for an additional 35 euros, you can get a link in the relevant directories back to your existing page.
In order to accommodate the new directories, our website will
be introduced as 'TRAVEL DIRECTORIES IRELAND' on our homepage from which
will be found, the 'Accommodation Directory of Ireland', 'Food and Drink Directory' and 'Leisure Directory'. Our customers can now avail of different packages on offer, from various web page options to a picture listing, or a basic one sentence free listing. The good news for you, our existing customers, is that our prices will remain the same. For new customers, prices will be slightly increased but still comparably low cost.
Easily found and fast to download , our website receives over 130,000 hits per month and still climbing !
Promote Your Area:
As we are now listing premises by town we would like to give you the opportunity to promote your area. If you have sites of interest, upcoming events or anything else that you think would attract visitors to your area just send us the text and the photos and we'll do the rest.

As the first quarter figure of 2001 ( to bring us to March 2001) have not been released yet, the number of visitors to Ireland at the height of The Foot & Mouth crisis is still unknown. However, as a return to normality is expected, we can for now, look at the previous two years to get a comparable idea of the tourism trend.
The total number of overseas visitors to Ireland in the year 2000 amounted to 6.417 million, an increase of 5.8% from the 6.068 million that visited in 1999.
